dear ashlee,

you are my very best friend in the whole wide world :)

you have always been there for me, through thick and thin.

you care about me and my happiness.
you worry about me.
you act like my mom sometimes ;)
you support me even when my decisions aren't always the smartest...
you let me cry on your shoulder when i need to,
or even let me sit on your lap while you just hold me as i break down.

and i know you love me because you do all these things for me.

idk what i would do without your friendship.

i know i'm a difficult person sometimes,
and i know i'm crazy.
i'm blunt and can be mean on accident...
i don't always think before acting.

but you still love me.

and because you love me so much,
it makes it that much easier to love you in the same way.

you are my best friend...my sister even.
i hope we're close forever, because you mean the world to me.

is it really challenging?
hmm.

i guess if i were to actually do a post every day, maybe...
but nope.

i'm just posting whenever i feel like it.

and my day.

well.
i skipped 2 out of 3 classes today.
i was trying desperately to finish an 8 page paper.
failed.
only made it to 6.

went to writing class.

came to blog.

in a few hours i'm going out to dinner for my sister's birthday :)

and then a few hours after that, i'm going over to her house for a surprise dessert party! :)

and i'm hopefully not doing any more homework for the duration of
MY LIFE
because i'm so sick of it.

good news?
only 11 more days of classes :)

i love my life a little bit :)

soooo...
sometimes, to entertain ourselves, my friends and i do random things :)

for instance....
when we're driving in a car, we look for unsuspecting pedestrians or bikers.
then, we roll down our windows, and
RAWR!
as loud as we can.
because people's reactions are so funny!
we love when they get scared out of their minds :)

this is why,

when our best buddy tyler burke had a birthday coming up,

mauricio and i knew exactly what to do for him...

:D

we made RAWR shirts!!! :)

and i don't know about you, but i think they're pretty dang legit :)

we edited a picture from the internet

and then went to get it printed at GenX

and they turned out

GREAT!

i absolutely love my 2 best friends :) :)

summer 2010 bucket list items #12 && #21---check.

#12: play in the rain.
#21: go to gateway mall.

today i got to spend some quality time with my best buddy, mauricio...but some of you might only know him as 'mo' since he is becoming more commonly known by that name in his new home at the university of utah :) seriously...i swear his new friends don't even know his real name haha :)

so i left work early to drive up to salt lake...i like it there. it's a cute city :)

but anyways, i picked him up and we went to the gateway for lunch and some window shopping :D i've never really been to the gateway, this being why it is on my bucket list. there are so many fun stores, my favorites being the HUGE versions of build-a-bear & forever 21, as well as anthropologie.

someday i'll buy something from that store.
promise.

oh!
and we took fun pictures!

and of course it rained on the day we went to an outdoor mall...
we were slipping and sliding everywhere!
but we made the most of it and had fun :)

the downside?

you have to pay to go shopping.

i think that's silly.
but it was worth it :)

so then after shopping,
we went back to the dorms so i could meet some of his friends.
i like them.
they're nice :)

but the leader lady...she kicked me out of the building.
because apparently i could potentially "harm" the participants in the summer program or something.
which i guess "potentially" i could.
but still.
it's dumb.
haha i'm not a serial killer :)

so then mauricio and i just went for a drive and
ended up playing and laughing together :)
that boy is my best friend.
and today was fun :)

hmmmm....

so to my recollection, i graduated not too long ago...less than 2 months ago actually.

see look: proof.

so why is there STILL drama?

i'm not entirely sure, but i just kinda wish it would stop :)

so far it has ranged from girls hating me for no reason, to me letting my mouth run wild with one special word that got me into a lot of trouble, some friendships ending, people fake dating for a night?, and then the usual, of people just talking behind other people's back. ugh. too much hate, too many rumors, too much craziness! let me just tell you. it's a blast!

ha... not really, but at the same time, i really don't care anymore. because like i said, i've graduated. i'm done with high school drama. so it may continue, and i may be around for it, but i just don't really care :)

but for the good points of my day... :)

~i saw missionaries talking to a lady on the sidewalk :) i hope they told her how families can be together forever, and i hope she gets baptized :) ...and i hope my brother found a golden contact today, too, cuz i like it when my brother is successful :)

~i went bowling with friends...my score the last 3 times i've gone has been 42. every time. yeah don't hate on me just cuz i suck :) but this time i broke the trend! ...i got 40. well at least the first round. but the second round i got 69, including one STRIKE! so that was pretty joyous :)

~and last, as i sat down to my computer to write this blog, i saw a love note by the computer :) ...not for me, but that's okay :) it is from my brother-in-law, to my sister [[they're living with us at the moment]] and it says, "i love you, my lovely bride :)" ......yeahhh. he's for sure a keeper :) i just love when love stays romantic :) seriously, it doesn't take much to be romantic. more boys should try it more often :)

well that is all for now...we'll see what the rest of the weekend has in store for me?
